Been Around the Block
So here's the deal... i bought a 73 cl360 off a guy (john) and he did not have the title, nor was he the registered owner. He got the bike from a customer (bill) at his at an auto shop in trade for work he had done. So i went to the DMV and gave them all the papers that i had and to no avail, was told i needed to contact "Bill" to get a bill of sale to register it. "Bill" is nowhere to be found, moved to arizona and "john" has no contact info. The bike is clean, i.e. not stolen, and i want to register it. Is this possible? Should i just find a frame and do the ol' swap-a-roo? Thanks guys
