Been Around the Block
clean title in my name. please read the entire post before contacting me.
$600 and not a penny less so don't waste my time and I won't waste yours. If you don't like the price, go pick up a rusty non-runner with no title for a couple dollars less. at this price, i'm not negotiating so don't bother.
anyway, for sale is my '81 cb750f supersport.
it runs, but will need a battery to get going as well as a few odds and ends to button up.
as of 6/20, it's having what i believe to be a spark issue but have no time to dig into.
i originally intended to just get it running when I bought it, but i began throwing money at it elsewhere and eventually got in over my head and the fact that I'm not riding it right now haunts me every day.
mods:
tail hoop welded and painted
biltwell tracker bars
emgo oem style grips
new throttle tube
a new headlight to replace the non-existent previous one
swapped the F tank (i hate the swoop if side covers aren't there to compliment it) for a C tank which will need a bracket for proper mounting or you can diagonally stick a bolt and nut through
new rear caliper seals
new clutch lever/perch
new front MC, lever and perch
kerker 4-1 to a cone engineering 12" Shorty muffler
new headlight/killswitch in one
pollak momentary ignition switch
what it needs:
a seat made. it's an F bike with a C tank so a longer seat would be needed.
the tail light i have for it mounted and wired.
new tires
diagnose the spark issue.
a bleeder screw for the rear caliper. i lost it wjd have a proper thread bolt in its place right now.
finish up the wiring up by the headlight/ignition. it mostly just needs to be wrapped.
