Agreed, cheap easy winter project (probably the intake rubbers), change the looks a little and you have a great spring ride and probably make a few bucks if you don't fall in love with it. Easy to work on, easy to upgrade, I can't see a down side here...

Yeah but the pedal set is available so a 5 speed swap would be easy its floor shift already
