Who dat in tha dirty? (our roll call)

tWistedWheelz

BUILT NOT BOUGHT!
Well let us know who you are, where you are, what you ride, age, and whatever else you want us to know! Please post on here only if you are in the Dirty South, and down with the DTT!

I'll kick it off!

Name: Brandon P.
Location: Gulf Shores, Alabama
Occupation: Brand Sales Rep. for Carrier Brand HVAC
Age: DOB=03/21/81
Bikes: Well currently I own a 1996 naked CBR600 F3I and a 1972 CB750 motor! Now I have Eileen, a 1979 Suzuki GS425E, she is getting a ground up build with tons of custom mods. I am building her as cheap as possible to prove what can be done on a skeleton budget!
General: I enjoy the outdoors and a good beer! I have been riding two wheels since I got my first motorcycle at age 6! Yzinger!

I look forward to meeting more of my fellow DTT Dirty South crew and to start planning some gatherings!

Cheers 8)

Re: Who dat in tha dirty?

Name: Mike S.
Location: Roswell, GA (ATL), currently working in Greenville, SC, soon to be Greensboro, NC
Occupation: Aerospace Engineer
Age: 34
Bikes: Currently a '72 CL450 that is torn apart for a winter rebuild. Rode an '80 CB400T in HS and college.
General: I fuckin love good beer, and a good dirty martini. I'm a homebrewer. I like camping and hiking with my kids and anything that has to do with airplanes. Went to Auburn and Georgia Tech. I'm german so my style is simple, clean and functional, with some fancy tech thrown in (Bauhaus style?). What a cafe racer should be.

This kinda feels like a personal ad.

Re: Who dat in tha dirty?

Name: Kiley Owen
Location: Birmingham, AL (the burbs anyway)

Occupation: Paramedic

Age: 28 big uns.

Bikes: 4 so far. 3 CB360's (Betty in pieces), Gretta (of course!), and a pile of parts that dreams of being a cb360. I also own a 1982 Harley Ironhead that will soon be a bobber. And I have a Triumph pre-unit motor and no frame. I think I have a problem. I've owned more than I can count! Learned to ride on an 85 Rebel 250.

General: I'm a pseudo hippy...I love the outdoors. I also (must be a southern thang) love a good beer. My favorite is 1/2 newcastle, 1/2 Guinness...called a Black Castle! I am a huge music freak...I play banjo, guitar, saxaphone, greek and Irish bouzouki, and a bit of DJ work. I'm Irish and proud (lineage is traced, grandpa has an irish accent!). I'm covered in tattoos, and well, you get the idea!

Re: Who dat in tha dirty?

Name: Lenox, Daniel
Location: Dallas, Tx

Occupation: Professional public protection engineer/community service specialist.

Age:28

Bike: 1978 CB750-F3

General: Father of four great kids. They were the reason I was put on this hunk of mud, and my wife is the reason I stay. I work, write, play with my bike and occasionally squeeze in time to carve wood pipes. My only vice is a good bowl of a nice English tobacco now and then. My general stance is to leave anything I touch a little nicer than I found it.

Good thing my bike had plenty of room to improve!

Re: Who dat in tha dirty?

Name: Alex Lowell
Occupation: Equipment operator for the City of Gulf Shores
Age: 27
Bikes: My first bike was a 1973 tx500 that was locked up. Twisted and I took it apart and I ended up selling the good stuff and throwing away the rest in disgust. After that I got two bikes at once: a 1996 katana 750 and a 1972 cb750 both almost running. I rode the kat for a few months and it shit the bed so I sold it. Now I have the 1972 cb750 cafe'd, a cb350 motor and carbs, and a Hondamatic 750 motor that needs a complete rebuild. I plan on purchasing a honda twin of some sort in the near future.
Other: married with three kids, payin bills and building bikes! My Drinks of Choice are: Guiness, newcastle (never had 'em together but I'm gonna try!), Harpoon brown, Fat Tire, And sam adams oktoberfest.

the 72 450cl and a 73 350cb. I like beer and Slayer.

4 things I totally dig. Welcome! My '72 CL450 has been lonely, although she is in pieces. Her parts are currently in Greenville. Hopefully I can get some work done on her while I'm up in Greensboro on assignment.

It's nice to know she has a sister nearby.

Re: Who dat in tha dirty?
