Aftermarket Brake Levers - Front Brake Switch Alternative

Hey All,

I bought the following Lever Set from DCC , and whilst installing them, I realized that I effectively eliminated the Brake Light Switch for my front brake. I found what I think could work to replace it, as there is nowhere on the perch to include what would have been a stock switch for it.

Brake/Clutch Lever:

Brake Switch:

Will this work?

I have to assume this is for the bike in your signature.
There are some small Hondas that use a switch in the front brake cable, I believe cb175/200.
Here is a OEM style perch for your bike: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-Brake-Perch-Bracket-Stay-Holder-80-82-SR250-Exciter-XS360-XS400-NEW-/301543999859?hash=item46356c4973&vxp=mtr

The universal switch that you linked is for the rear brake.

+1 on the honda cable/switch combo. I've used them several times on bikes to clean up the bars and they always work great.
