On 1 and 4, they are felt. 2 and 3 are rubber.

The choke also has felt seals.

Re: The Black Knight, HOORAY its CARB DAY!!!

Brass and Bowls came out of the chem dip as good as I knew it would.

So just for interest, finishing them off in the ultrasonic machine.

Curious to see how it handles the stuck on bits of gaskets.

Mines 15 liter $150.00 on ebay. And they got a 22 ltr for $210.00

It works awesome, Temp heats up to 175F / 80C if you preheat.

Mine hit 122F in the 30 minutes it ran.

Re: The Black Knight, HOORAY its CARB DAY!!!

The sonic softened the gaskets but it to the Dremel to finish them,

Its just freaky to me, how they could possibly drill these in a mass production environment.

Ask Kiley about having to make an emulsion tube this weekend for Jason's XS, since it didn't have one in one of the carbs.

All but silent. Maybe like the same as a box fan running. Just a low buzzing hum in the background of Pandora.

honestly I was surprised.

Takes less time to make one. A needle in a haystack at a swap meet.

Re: The Black Knight, HOORAY its CARB DAY!!!

Cleaned up nice and going to re-use all the original brass...except, of course the new float needles will go in, as the old springs are mushy.

11494-081018193546-450434.jpeg

MAYBE the float needle seats too. If I do use them I will try to polish the needle seats up nice.

Re: The Black Knight, HOORAY its CARB DAY!!!

I do have to use the new float needle seats.

There is a 1/10mm difference in O-ring groove diameter.

Probably Keihin use some bastard size and the new one uses off the shelf.
