1972 CB100 Honda..maybe for the wife.

Dayyyyum............that small sprocket is 30 bux and a chain 50 bux at the S & T.

Over 100 bux if I got the rear one with it.

This little bike is costing a bunch.

Yea, after posting that I thought about it............asked myself that very question.

Oh well.

It'll get to where I want it....................been this long, what's a few more months.

Im on board w all that.

But wife was looking at this sort of thing. 10-15 years old and just gross looking.

My budget hasnt hit $1400 mark yet. And the 100 has a coolness factor...for me anyways.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ewwwwwwww......!!!!!!!!!^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Actually this is what my wife wants:

Well If were going so far as to finance something. Ill take one of those for myself + the wife would love to ride in a sidecar more than anything.

No financing gonna happen anytime soon, so guess she's stuck with waiting for me to get this little CB100 going.

Weeellllllllll ::)......maybe when I hit the lottery. 8)

You could always give her your 750. I bet that 100 would get done super fast if that happened

hahaha......she doesn't like it, cause she thinks all the bikes I have are too tall, or too heavy.

I keep trying to convince her she needs the softail, and I need a Ultra Classic.

Well, ordered the sprocket and chain.

Got a kicker shaft and lever coming from member 45exmayor.

Still waiting for the wire harness, too.

Played with the kicker I have currently, and got it running again......played with the carb needles......think I screwed it up more.

Got it to idle on it's own. But, not sure if it's right or not, gotta wait till the stuff comes in, so I can ride it.

Don't want to let it idle too, too long. Don't want to overheat it.

With newly rebuilt engine, don't want to over throttle it either. So, guess I still have a ways to go.

Darn little thing bite me too. All these bikes I have and never have been burned by the exhaust, but this little booger got me.

Damit man......that hurts.

Also got the daughter's car fixed.....found it had a broken wire on the injector harness.....................330 bux later, she's up and running the hour to work and hour back.

good you got it. $330 sucks.

I just took my Honda Fit to get a leaking tire repaired this morning...had to order 2 new tires for it. Cords are almost showing! That was the leak. Ugh.

Received the front sprocket, installed it................seems a little loosey-goosey.

Is that normal?

Also got the kicker shaft and lever from 45exmayor, gonna try to get that thing changed in a weekend, once the gasket set gets here.

In the meantime I'm gonna try some off the wall crap to tighten the one i have on the shaft just to try and kick it.

I don't have a gas tank, so push starting it won't work either.

My gas source is a 2 gallon tank with a hose attached from it to the carb. I will also try to figure out a temp tank source so i can ride it around the hood.

Have you checked with Gt550guy? He's selling a bunch of stuff, might have a tank you could use. Go over and check his selling thread.

The sprockets do a bit of wiggling on both my bikes. Seems normal enough.

Is there enough room to shim it? My stock CB750 sprocket is not loose, but the one I got from Sprocket Specialists is 2mm narrower at the shaft. I got a pack of generator shims for VWs to shim it and make it tight.

Thanks guys.

We'll see what happens when the chain comes in.
