It's that time again. Meltdown Vintage Motorcycle Show 2016 is approaching. For those of you who aren't familiar with it, this year marks the fifth annual Meltdown at the Southern Appalachian Brewery in Hendersonville, NC. The Meltdown is a vintage bike and cafe racer show and will be on Saturday, April 30 @ 12:00pm.

Any DTTer hitting the Meltdown is welcome to camp at our place. We have plenty of area for bikes and vehicles, as well as camp area. We are usually pretty laid-back, beer & bonfire style.
*DISTANCE: We live about a half hour from the brewery and there's a killer route there that Mr. E would love to show ya.
*FOOD: I provide dinner Friday night, breakfast and dinner Saturday, and breakfast Sunday. Menu coming soon.
*BEER: We will have a selection of craft beer, but we ask that anyone partaking also bring some brews to share.
*RSVP: Rsvp is requested.
*COST: No fees for camping at my place, but if anyone wishes to throw a few bucks our way, it's very appreciated, as it is a rather expensive weekend to host.

Feel free to post here or pm me with any questions.

I think that covers the important stuff. Hope to see all our favorite people and meet some new friends too.
Y'all come and have some beer, bikes, and bonfire fun!

I figure my presence is a given, but I'm going to say woop anyway. ;D I can't wait and the 7fitty must be absolutely done.

Mosquitos aren't so bad in the foothills. This is right at the base of the mountains. They won't really ramp up for another month. Humidity is a constant on the east coast. Not as bad in April. June is really when the heat and humidity take off.

If the mosquitoes come around we just add wood to the fires and run smoky mini bikes around the yard. C'mon over!

If I didn't live 1500 miles away out here in NM I would go. I have a sister in Greensboro I need to see also.
Have a great time!

If you guys are on Facebook, you can Rsvp and get info about the Meltdown Camping weekend here too:

E and Jenn, thanks for hosting the campout!
We are planning for an even bigger and better show this year. We are going to be doing more group rides, a bigger Friday pre party and a Sunday breakfast meet up and ride.

Also, we are raffling off a custom classic British cafe bike!
Check out the build thead.

Hendersonville is where I want to move. This is definitely not making it harder lol.
Hendo is a good place. I've spent most of my life in it. It's growing in good ways too.
