Paint vs powdercoat....again

You can use it with or without primer, it sticks pretty well both ways. I bead blast or soak in phosphoric prep and etch, rinse and dry, then hang and paint.

I've had parts that have stayed tacky for 2 days because of the humidity.

My bike is currently rocking a 5 year old appliance epoxy paint job. The frame has been wearing it for 7 years. Proper prep is your friend.

Pj1 used to make the black epoxy and that stuff is still on my cb frame. Wish they made it in sliver matte or semi. Or just silver for that matter. I need to paint the case on this gl.

If you do prime I'd allow for plenty of time for the primer to cure and gas off. Also if you need to coat over the appliance epoxy after it has dried you'll need to wait 20 days plus. This stuff takes forever to cure out. This is bought experience. I tried to mask off and paint over a section that had cured for a week with awful results.
