Good eye!

I spy with my little eye

petcocks, front sprocket, a chain, clutch plates ummm, gaskets

Looking forward to seeing the progress and envious of the pace your making.

The faring showed up with little to say. Markings include an "AR" under the headlight and Oroglass on both very well preserved screens, the fasteners all seem to be aviation parts with all locknut fasteners very detailed and well done installation. some pics for size refs and visual on the BSA: Everything screams 40 + years old.

AVON fairings from Mitchenall Brothers Ltd. I cannot remember what they put inside their fairings though. I had a top half without the headlamp glass on a Goldie and a sports avonaire on a smaller bike back in the sixties.

Got this in the mail today.

The pictures i posted certainly give no justice, the Oroglas is amazingly clear and unharmed... the part has only rub marks on the gel coat that look like white chalk.

A plethora of information out there for these, but no real way to identify anything short of speculation. I guess to be sure a museum would give the best answers, but it's in the area of who really cares and WOW with it being a 70's part. I would be happy if it had a name and race number hand painted on it, then I would just display it.

Like my chopstick cleco's

Needed a few 8mm timeserts and ran on this for way under cost. I see a few more sets like it left, none exactly the same tho.
