Oh man that is so awesome. Strange hearing that kind of sound out of a bike like that, but very cool.

I want one! How he built the crankshaft, and the crankcase, has me intrigued to no end. Did he make the dies to pour the mold? Lost foam, sand cast, pressure injection multi part? It could be a billet, one of a kind, made from a block of 6061 aluminum T-6.

Want. So bad.

I'm working on a '71 CL70. Bored and stroked with race head and cam, hi volume oil pump, HD clutch, etc. Works out to 117cc. About double rear wheel HP..... ~10-11 raging horses!
Going for the sleeper, patina look. With the engine upgrades and sprocket changes, should cruise at 50-55 mph and hit 70.

If he only sold the crank and cases...man! That's a sweet CL! Where did you get the head from? I'm assembling a '70 CT70 and it's seems like there are a lot of options on the motor side on the cheap but they may turn out to be un-reliable junk.

I want more info on the hover craft in the background of the video =) I usually hate on stock tail lights really hard, but that bike is perfect.

-Ben.

i bet he cast something based on two combined crank cases and went from there. I wish I had a tenth as much mechanical know how as he does.

I just seen a cafe scooter on FB yesterday with a dunstall fairing and everything. From the outside it looked like a vintage racer but under the skin it was a 50cc scooter. This guys build is just Awesome with a capital letter A.!! Love the sound of that little v-twin. Damnit now I want one lol
