Starting a build thread of the CB160 my youngest and I are restoring. It was given to me by a friend who was sick of it sitting in his garage, so the price was right! And its a stylish little bike, wish I had 10 of them!

Another pic of the day we brought it home. It sat for a little over a year in my garage looking sad... Locked up motor...

Got the top end off and saw alot of carbon, but no rust... Still couldnt figure out why the pistons were stuck!

So we burned the cylinders to heat up the pistons, thanks to the wonderful suggestions from DTT'ers

Then we built a table, and got organized. Once we got the pistons free, we pulled them out and noticed one of them was totally blown out at the bottom, hence the sticking when they went up into the cylinder...

Sent a bunch of parts off with a friend last weekend, who has a parts cleaner, and a media blaster that shoots walnuts... He graciously offered to clean whatever parts I need. Now, we wait! Hope you enjoy the start to our project!
