Nice. I was going to pick up a cheapo non runner 350F last week for 500 bucks but went with a 74 cb750 instead. Couldn't get them both. :(

So did you get your wheels from mikes'? I was pondering about getting some there. The prices seem to good to be true.

Re: CB 350F saved from a lonely life outside...

See my build fist couple of pages. Link in Sig. I have MikesXS rims.

They are DOT approved too...

Re: CB 350F saved from a lonely life outside...

I just curious they are really cheap compared to, well most other wheels you can get. $75-100 maybe a little more, but compared to $200-1000 or more. I want some black aluminum wheels thats why I ask and mikes are in my ball park.

Re: CB 350F saved from a lonely life outside...

There's nothing wrong with them. They are not perfect, for instance, there is a little imperfection where the hoop was welded into a ring. Not a strength problem, but if you use a dial indicator, you can tell where the seam is. It is slightly visible on a Sunny day. But an extra $150 is too much for me to get "perfection" and I'd bet those type of minor flaws may be visible on the more expensive brand too.

For the most Im not worried about cosmetics. Im going to get the black ones and If I can tell from 60' then no one else will. I don't want be going down the interstate and my wheels fall apart. Thanks

Re: CB 350F saved from a lonely life outside...

The ciontruction is good. the little waviness is purely cosmetic, and more noticeable with a dial indicator then anything else.
