Built a "planter table" for the missus. She saw one in some magazine and decided she needed it. I decided it was not worth $100 and built one out of an old BBQ.

Spent the better part of yesterday afternoon/evening removing all remnants of automatic transmission from a buddies '91 Corvette.

I spent about 1.5hrs folded up in this space moving wires and removing the brake pedal assembly.

He's swapping over to a ZF6spd, and I'm getting the recently rebuilt and heavily upgraded 700R4 that came out. It'll be going into the Stepside on a couple of months ;)

Built a shop cart. Laser cut the top with holes that match the die springs from the honda motor start stand.
That way I can get it up off the floor to work on it. You can see that project here: http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=55440.msg713805#msg713805

And see it finished and running here:

Also put a piece of DOM in the middle that matches up with the harley engine stand I built. Allows me to spin it about the vertical and horizontal axis. I originally designed the stand to just mount to a bench top (see rendering below), but I liked this idea better. Tagged on some holsters for the mig gun just in case and a hook for the helmet/shield/whatever.

Ended up mounting a vice to the cart too, which came in handy when I built the exhaust.

Those are bad amigo.
In a good way.

Having never done that before, do you just set the shop saw on say 10 degrees and make pie cuts and then tig all the pieces together (like for chambers), or are you cutting pie cuts out of a straight tube, bending it and welding it back up?
