$5 Brake light build

OK, so the bike I picked up a month ago had some God awful brake light hanging off it's South end that didn't even work. I ordered a new one from DCC, but didn't want to wait to ride until it showed up. So, I went to the local auto parts store, picked up a $5.00 2 1/2" sealed round red marker light. Just happens to be the same diameter as a spray paint cap. Drilled a few holes, used a $.50 L bracket, and viola! Instant temporary brake light!

I realize this is cheezy, but hey, I like to ride, and waiting a week was just not gonna happen.....

Ha!

Not quite, but it worked, fit the budget, and I didn't have to stop riding- and my new DCC brake light showed up today! Maybe I've seen too many Macgyver episodes...

Thanks Krafty!
