Hey guys bought this bike for $300 and it is my first bike,but wanted to customize it. So I decided to build a hard tail out of it

The bike idled a little rough, so i cleaned the carbs and still the same thing. I tested the compression and both cylinders were about 100psi and i think spec is 150psi. So I found out the head gasket needed replaced. so I tore the bike down to the bare frame and started to get to work on it.

So didnt like how it was looking. I chopped it all off and it is a hard tail. I ended up streching it about 6in.

Nice work so far. Looks like you know how to do it correctly. My first bike was a CM400 too.

Yeah im a bigger guy 5'11" about 230lbs, plus I have always liked the looks of hardtails.
