extended fork tubes

I am doing a Chopper project on a CB650 1982. I have been looking for 8 over extended 35mm for tubes. the only people on line that i can find for custom ones don't answer the phone or e mails.

Anybody know a shop that makes or sells these?

Are you talking about Frank's Maintenance and Engineering in Evanston, IL?
I emailed them early last spring for a quote on extended tubes and got an answer in a day or 2. Went another direction with the bike, but they were answering emails then.

no i was talking about Cycle x. i will look up Franks.

can i ask what the quote came out at?

I think it was between 3 and 4 hundred bucks - but check with them to make certain.
I also had to worry about the Canadian / US exchange rate and shipping...
Too bad you're not building a 650 Yam chopper; Mike's XS has 6 over tubes for $148.95 the pair...

Find a set of XS lower legs (make sure they're for the 35mm forks) and you can do +6 for cheap but... then you have to adapt the Honda wheel and brake to the Yam legs. Or, run a Yam front wheel and brake?
