I went to Bali on vacation and managed to track down the guy who fabricates the exhausts and pipes for all the custom shops in the area including DEUS, he had a GP style can (which I have been looking for) on the shelf so I snagged it for a good price
Here's the shop, quite impressive craftmanship, and they were fast!
I was seriously considering buying some expansion chambers just to have them on the shelf for a future project Most of the exhausts were around 50 bucks...
I mounted one light in front... still on the fence about one or two headlights...
Got a friend who's better with the welder to weld my new pipe to the connector pipe
Got it mounted and couldn't help but firing it up - holy lightning it sounds good! Very deep tone and not too agressive bark... until you twist the throttle
I also got the wiring rerouted so it all sits neatly under the seat... now onto exhaust bracket and hooking up the lights
Looking awesome. I think asymmetrical lights would look good. The one you mounted in the pic above as the large one and then a small (maybe LED) one on the other side
Johnpete, I have actually thought about that too. Now that I have been looking at the single light for a few days I think I will go with two. Gotta see if I have a smaller light kicking around... if not it will just be ordinary dual lights ...
