tubing bender recommendations

Hey all. I'm looking into purchasing a manual tubing bender. I'll be using it for various bike and auto projects and also building roof racks. Does anyone have any recommendations? I don't need top of the line, but I still want a quality tool that will last and give reproducible results. Still in the research phase and will be bending tubing around 1", not sure of wall thickness yet.

Manual tubing bender is a manual tubing bender. The dies will cost the most.

I messed with a dj2? .something like that anyways...came with a program so you can accurately cut and bend the same piece over...

Jd2 model 3 works fine, all others are about the same. Dies all cost about the same. Other option is if you have the tools and can find material cheap enough make your own http://www.chopperhandbook.com/bender.htm

I used the jd2 plans and made my own. Used a trailer jack so I could keep it mobile and not need to be bolted down.
