My only posts prior were re a '77 cb I got in the shed. Sold it and got a 74 SOHC CB. No idea when I will get to it.
Im a just a very patient garage hack but can get through most any bike issue with the right resource, book, site, or direction.
Finally got my son's 79 triple to his liking. Simple cafe styling. Not a racer but more of the style that biker types either like or hate. We don't care, he loves it. Was in boxes and crates since 2004.
Pods are changed out for UNIs per Limey bikes. Wish we could find rear sets that would mount to the existing foot peg mounts........
2004 pic was last day as a stock bike. Owner starting a cafe project then got deployed to Iraq, came home unable to ride in '08. My son was over seas himself when I used his truck to bring the "stuff" to my garage. The first and only mock-up was really all we had of the bike. PO had cut up the frame A LOT. Wish we could have made it a street runner prior to all the work we put into it. Last couple pics were last week.
