Mikuni VM Viton Tipped Float Needles? Where to buy, what size?

I ordered some K&Ls and they are too wide and tall.
The VM ones are incredibly small, about 50% smaller than regular Keihins or any Viton tipped K&Ls I've seen.
I have a decent overflow problem with my current setup.
Can I just drill the Float Valve Seats hole wider? I can't see that working out, has to be very precise without taking the drill bit into the actual inner hole.

the float valve seats are 2.5 Hex head type.
