BMW coils interchange K100 /K1100

Guys I originally posted this over in Electrical - but maybe most of you [ like me ! ] steer clear of that topic!

I want to fit K1100 coils on my K100. Different fittings and mountings apart - they have a slightly different primary and secondary resistance. Any probs?
I don't want to risk cooking my ECU or anything similar. :

The ONLY reason for the swap is that I have a mean set of 10mm silicone competition plug leads [wires ] that will only fit the K1100 coil connectors. No, I don't want to swap the lead ends over !

not sure what you mean? Do you want me to find out the two ratings ?
