would an xs650 motor have the same motor mounts as a 76 xs500 motor? just curious as im looking at buying a nice rolling chassis kit that fits an xs650.
the 650 motor is a much better motor. much better. i would go with the 650. but to answer your question, not it wouldn't be a bolt in. I'm sure you could make it work by making new mounts and welding them to the frame.
