  • Maritime: I just can't put it on my work computer so need to look at PB pics at home
    Apr 17, 2018, 16:10:11
  • DeaconTheMunk: anyone else get the Triangle with ! in it when trying to view photos on some of the builds?
    Apr 17, 2018, 16:25:11
  • jrknecht: so I have to use the plug in to view photos not post them?
    Apr 17, 2018, 16:44:11
  • jrknecht: so where are people uploading photos at to use here on the forum?
    Apr 17, 2018, 16:48:04
  • Tim: The plug-in (if it is available) tricks PB into displaying the images in IMG links.  Still post the same way.  You can upload pics to DTT in the Gallery - that works the best and the photos will always be around.

  • jrknecht: thanks Tim

  • Maritime: That looks like fun Jussy

  • irk miller: That's cool that it goes through Gettysburg.  When I taught in Philly, we took 7th graders to Gettysburg.  We camped on a battlefield.  It was creepy and cool all at once.

  • JustinLonghorn: It's a neat idea. They share the route. You ride it whenever you want.
    Apr 18, 2018, 09:43:04
  • JustinLonghorn: Though looking at some of the pics/videos, you could definitely do most of it on a street bike.
    Apr 18, 2018, 09:43:45
  • irk miller: Yeah.  The Trans-America trail is more dirt than that, I believe.  Still a bunch of pavement, though.  They keep making it better.  [link]

  • The Jimbonaut: Damn those trails look like fun.  I had no idea there were such well developed and mapped trail routes through the US
    Apr 18, 2018, 10:36:15

    Apr 18, 2018, 11:11:50
  • Maritime: Jim, there is a similar one for Canuckistan as well, way more remote and rugged though
    Apr 18, 2018, 11:42:21
  • Maritime: I think we are only a couple years away from being able to cross Canada 100% dirt road and trails
    Apr 18, 2018, 11:43:01
  • JustinLonghorn: There is a group of guys here in the DC area that do a bunch of distance rides on pre-1980 Goldwings. Much of their ride every year is on trails. This year the ride is mostly in Canada.
    Apr 18, 2018, 11:48:17
  • Maritime: Cool
    Apr 18, 2018, 11:50:27

    Apr 18, 2018, 12:00:50
  • JustinLonghorn: I don't have the vacation time or money to do trips like that.
    Apr 18, 2018, 12:01:06
  • Maritime: Yep, when I retire I hope to be in good enough shape to do some trips like those
    Apr 18, 2018, 12:59:04

    Apr 18, 2018, 13:05:29
  • The Jimbonaut: I'm really hoping to bunk off for a week or two this summer and do the Gaspe Peninsula loop here in Quebec.  Thing is I'm not the only one with the same idea - the roads get really clogged.  I'll be looking into something a little more off the beaten track, and hopefully the KLR will be up for the challenge
