Your bike’s official name is Kerfuffle.

What the fuck isna kerfuffle?
And more importantly why does autocorrect know what it is?

An update to show some direction for the fairing and the side covers. Time is being driven by process right now, so turn-around is a little slower.

First off, I'm running a DR350SE fairing. But instead of going totally stock with it, I cut to slits in it and pulled the spoiler above the light a steeper angle. This will give me better space for the dash, and more importantly, a better angle for the windshield. The windshield is a Super Tenere windshield being cut down. The first pic is just initial stuff, so some things will have changed before complete...

The plastic is being coated in resin and fiberglass cloth. I'll have to step back and dig up pics of how I got here with it. I haven't been documenting oh so well. The side covers show a little better.

With glass, sanding, Dynaflex, primer, and sanding..

sorry sideways

Then for sidecovers, I cut down the stock covers, filled the weird indention with insulation foam, coated in resin and glass. I still need to make the mounts and tabs, but that's for a later day...

Looks pretty good, but I hate to break it to ya, windshields are supposed to be made out of trash cans ;)

Not sold on the fairing, the proportions look off to me. Like a little head on a big body, lol.

I like where you’re going with the sidecovers though. Much less 90s.

Looking spiffy there Wiz. What's up with the go-kart?
Thanks, Cuz. That go-kart was dumped on me by a buddy to make run and sell. I want to dump it into the Savannah River.

Re: 1997 BMW F650 El Diablo Hellride

I dig the fairing. It’s much more “dirt bike” than the stock 90’s windsuit abortion.

Working out the dash...

And here it is in prime coat. I'm trying to get this paint done while my wife and kids are out of town...

Paint and decals complete and ready for clear coat. Seat done, despite all and every effort to kept those effin folds out of it. I cut the roundel out of vinyl since no one seems to sell a decal version of it. Go figure.
