That sure looks like that is the BSA tank I been searching for!
Is it the same one that's white in your "after" pic? If not, do you still have it?
Did you luck out and find an original or did you source it new?
If you found it new, where?
So jealous

Looks like you are running the emgo mufflers off of the head pipes, am I right? if so did you do anything special to get them to fit without the collector underneath? I had the emgos on mine that came off the collector now im trying to fit them to the head pipes and not be rubbing motor or frame.

They're not directly attached to the header, I took a piece of exhaust pipe I got from Advanced Auto and cut it into to equal lengths, 7.5 inches each and welded them to the header, after that I took "Chrome Upswept Muffler Adapters" from Dime City Cycles and welded them on to the new exhaust piece. The metal walls on the Emgo shorty mufflers are really thick and didn't look like they were going to compress on very easily so I cross cut them. The cuts were only as thick as the cutting disk for my angle grinder and only about half an inch deep, if that, just enough for a clamp to cover. I used 1.5 inch exhaust clamps and had to pry them apart some to get them around the muffler, I probably should have ordered a size bigger but they worked, they're just extra tight now.

Besides the header these were the pieces I used:

I bought an extra piece just in case, didn't return it yet so I made marks where I cut it. I also cut off where the sticker is because the pipe is wider.
