Been Around the Block
I got home from work yesterday and started to raise my forks through the triple clamps. I have an XS650 front end on my Honda 750 and the forks are about 2 inches longer on the Yamaha. Once I got to the clip ons, I noticed that the mount that goes on the fork leg was cracked! I guess I over torqued it. Now I have some el cheapo clip ons mounted so that I can roll the bike around the garage until the new ones come in. This morning, i went to take out the recycling, and there is a small pool of oil under the floor beneath my bike. I thought I was going to get it inspected and tagged next week, but now I have to fix the leak, and wait for new parts......
