Hello ALL
i AM A NEBIE AS THEY SAY AND HAVE A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS,
Honda 550 F1 super sport 1977,
I just brought this bike with a project in mind to make a nice cafer racer to ride here in Amsterdam, lots of nice flat roads,
Have a slapping noise from cam chain ,
I have been informed that i can adjust the tensioner by releasing the nut on the back of the engine ,,i did release and now the noise seems to be a tad louder,
Seens a few posts and they have mentioned run the engine and then readjust the tensioner ,is this the case ,?
Or i have also heard to place in 2nd gear and the adjust ,have someone pull on the back wheel whilst in secound gear,
The big question is do i turn the adjusting screw clock wise or anti clock wise ?
Please do help an English man stuck in Amsterdam ,
Any comments are welcome ...
