White Residue AFTER Ultrasonic cleaning

Mr_Dunev

I have no idea what I am doing
So I have been playing with my ultrasonic cleaner, and when cleaning carbs I have been getting a white residue after cleaning. This has happened with White Vinegar and Heavy Duty Simple Green.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Yes. they have to be scrubbed with soapy water and rinsed and dried or else the zinc oxidizes.

Gotta neutralize that ish, dawg. Too much acid needs base. Try diluted Purple Power instead of simple green or vinegar. Much more friendly. Still pH around 11, so you can soak or rinse in water/baking soda.

Ive had luck just wiping things down with pb nutbuster after using a acetone/purple power concoction.
