Not a purchase, but a trade. I traded my 73 triumph spitfire with a toyota driveline for a 1980 XS650. Someone tried to bob it and removed most of the wiring, put on shorter shocks, and a not so good seat. It'll be getting brought up to daily rider status with new wiring, fixed suspension, and a proper rear hoop. They did do a good job on the header so it'll stay, maybe get a cone muffler.
I'd scope one up if I came across one. Might finally put in the " Dog House"

Ooh!!! I like CBXs a lot. Saw a pair of the beauties the other day on The Fosseway near Bourton on the Water.

Maritime-would love to cross the pond again for Harvest. Had such an amazing time in your stunning part of the world. The whole trip was a 50th birthday treat from my gorgeous wife. Will contact you if we return. Cheers.

Not perfect matches to mine and Rach's bikes but certainly close enough.
Damn nice! I enjoy building scale replicas of vehicles I own/owned.
I have two kits I'm going to combine to replicate my Stepside, just haven't had the time to do it yet :p

And, while it's nowhere near as nice or rare as the CBX...
(Nice grab BTW Jking... I'd love to have one ;))

I picked this up this 2001 Bandit 1200 today...

Aleister Crowley, the British occultist. Or Crowley from Good Omens the book. Your choice.
Definitely 'Good Omens' It's just been made into a TV series (maybe a while ago and only just getting to American TV?) I like the look of CBX, particularly the later mono-shock tourer (the pearl white is 'nicer' than the metallic grey IMO) but they are just too damn big and take up too much space. Very easy to wheelie though ;)

I forgot, I moved the pic in photobucket. So it broke the link.

Very nice. The first real fast bike I ever rode was that same bike in silver. I stepped off of a Honda shadow 750 ace and onto that.

It felt like star wars when they go into warp speed and the stars just turn into streaks lol

An unplanned addition, 1977 CB750K7...Georgia bill of sale deal. Bought from an old friend to help him raise money for a special needs children's program. Motor turns over, seems like compression is OK. I thought I was through with 750s but this is the 50 year anniversary for these bikes. He's giving me a tank and other parts out of his stash and it is a very big stash.
