The name of the thread was meant to be ironical. I just thought it amusing that there are so many mishaps on film with that Izh brand of motorcycle (which is a cool bike BTW, I think...).

Yeah. Watching the video you get the impression they had a hard time keeping anything but the extra-large rear sprockets in-stock at the factory in Izhevsk.
After watching this repeat several dozen times, I realized the forks didn't actually break and sever. The lowers weren't attached to the fork tubes and they popped out in mid-air. Crazy Ruskies.
