My buddy and I started this mostly restoration for this guy this winter and I wanted to show the progress so far. This bike was parked in an apartment building basement in 82' and sat there until we got our hands on it. The owner of the building let the guy were restoring it for take the bike out of there. When we got it the engine was seized and this thing was dirty as all hell. Theres also a picture of my new BSA I bought that I'm currently doing an engine rebuild on
When we got it:
after the frame was painted engine cleaned by hand
ended up fixing the foam under the seat I didn't like the angle didn't seem to match how it originally was
seat cover we used
tires mounted front end cleaned up and dents repaired on the fork covers
headers cleaned up (guy still buying the right muffler - very hard too find he's about to dish out 350 on eBay)
final polish will happen once were done tuning the bike
the side panels, chain guard, gauges, tank, and couple other things are getting professionally painted at the moment.
