I'm Dave, I'm 21, picked this up April 22, never ridden a motorcycle before, always wanted one. 4500 miles, every piece was there, including owners manual, tool kit, original registration card, and the Ohio plate with '78 registration. Immediately got to getting it running, rode it around a bit, and tore it all down. Cut/grind/weld/paint/reassemble/rewire/etc pretty simple build nothing really "build" about it actually, but I'm very satisfied with the outcome for a little bit of money and effort. All pictures shot by my buddy Ian who helped me build it and taught me things along the way.

That came out nice. I did my first resto a few years younger than you, I think I was 19. It was a lot of fun, so much so that at age 39 I'm still doing it! I'm also in Ohio, and that's about the only good thing about our winter is it's a good time to build :)
