1981 GN400, aprox 10,000 miles. Ground off every un-needed bracket and tab. Sandblasted and powdercoated frame, swingarm, triple trees, wheels, brake bar, and kick stand. Just about everything on the bike is new.

Yup, the tank is hydrographics, dipped into a film that clings, then poly coated in satin finish. The skulls aren't for everyone but most like it when they see it.
And the seat is ostrich. I wanted something different.
If anyone's interested in what went into th e bike, I have some "before" pics too and can list all the details we put into her.

yeah mate, very cool indeed. i would also like to know more about your tank. double thumbs up....

i will see how much i can get it for it the US when i arrive.

Well, the tank was done here: http://wdwti.com/
They stripped it and prepped it. I picked out the image that I wanted, comes on a roll, they have hundreds of different images: camo's both military and hunting, carbon fibers, skulls, flames, zombies, you name it.
So, the image is on a film, they cut off a few feet of the stuff and lay it in a tank of warm water, the gel suspending the image disolves leaving only the paint, then they dip the tank into the image and it clings to the tank. Dries, then they coat it with either a glossy or matte poly coating. The poly takes 5 days to dry/cure. I had mine coated in the matte/satin finish. It cost me $250 for stripping off all the old paint, prepping the tank, and to have the image applied.
These guys are good, they do almost everything, while I was there, they were doing aircraft dashboards from some customer in Belgium. They ship to/from all over the world. Father and son team, Phil and Phil. Good guys.
