73' Yamaha Ls2

Found one locally for 500. Looks to be in decent shape, but no title. He said it has just a bill of sale from 1975 auction. and of course his. He said it runs good just might need to adjust timing or something because once it gets going it makes weird noises. Said starts first kick though, and everything is good. Of course if i got it, id be seeing cafe bars + cafe seat asap.

Any TN users, would I have a problem registering it? Also should I just save my money for a more common bike that actually HAS parts for it? I hate being broke, I just really want my first bike.

Heres the link, nobody steal this from under me..

Wow! Cool find! 8)

I don't know much about this particular Yammie, but I'd be doin' some checking before I hacked anything off this one! I know. Hard to believe! ;D

You might have an "original" worth some dough! ;D

true, but its been on craigs for a few days now with no interest......hmmmmm. Pretty sure all the vintage nuts would have gotten it by now if it was worth anything.

bump, anything?

hard to register this old of a bike with just bill of sale? Also how reliable would this motor be/parts be?
