Picked her up yesterday. She must be done in 10 days to make it to Rockerbox.

Engine has been rebuilt from the crank up. So, that makes it a bit easier.

Here's what I'm starting with. Guy put a brand new rear tire on the front. Going to move it to the back, and put a matching tire up front. Chambers need some new color, possibly ceramic coated if my guy can get me in. Tank is perfect, fresh paint. I'm going to whip up a carbon fiber seat for it, put a silver stripe down the middle. Rearsets, ditch the clubmans. Going to run some flanged alloy rims rather than the steel on it. And, a little bikini fairing I build is going to be perfect. Glass up a front fender. Pull the perfect rear chrome fender, and stick a glass inner fender in there.

She runs like a top. Took her out and racked through the gears this morning pretty damn hard. No stumbles, no hesitations. Rare these days that I start with a good running, riding bike. Usually have to throw an engine rebuild in. Nice that the guy sold me the bike super cheap, and had the engine rebuilt.
