'66 BSA Johnny Cash Special

Almost ready for it's first road test. Body work all done, fresh paint on the tinware, new tires. Just need to hook up the fuel cocks and lines, fit the tach and speedo cables, and a mirror...and wait for some decent weather. Rain rain, go away!

Back from a short run around the neighbourhood...so far so good! Nothing fell off and the engine seems unusually gutsy and smooth...but then again, it has had some mild performance mods. The exhaust shock wave gives you a good slap in the face when you walk behind it! :)

I've continued tinkering with the machine over the past couple of weeks, making small adjustments here and there and getting the carbs properly tuned in. It seems to be running perfectly and the owner had his first ride on it this afternoon. Another test ride, or two and I think I will be able to turn it over to him.

A few more shots without the snow in the background. :)

Thanks. Nope, not stock...not much is on this machine. :) They are some kind of aftermarket used clubmans that came our way.
