  • Mar 22, 2019, 13:45:39
  • advCo:
  • yep, worth the gamble at that price
  • Mar 22, 2019, 13:35:59
  • Maritime:
  • but for 20 shipped I figured I could make the work
  • Mar 22, 2019, 13:25:29
  • Maritime:
  • Step one is to see if the coils spacers I got cheap fit or need trimming. they had no dimensions on the spring seat area and I may need to trim that sectoin and put a piece of pipe in or something for them to work.

  • Nick, I will be pulling the liner out of the one fender that still has it and I have flares saved in my amazon cart if I need to put spacers on the wheels to clear struts or steer and I am no apposed to a BFH on the fenders, or a grinder LOL
  • Mar 22, 2019, 13:23:24
  • advCo:
  • Whats up dude! thanks man I'm learning
  • Mar 22, 2019, 13:20:33
  • Kamn:
  • advCo, nice body work on the bus!
  • Mar 22, 2019, 12:32:27
  • Kamn:
  • What up dudes?
  • Mar 22, 2019, 12:31:35
  • advCo:
  • Or cut them out and bolt on some flares
  • Mar 22, 2019, 11:14:56
  • advCo:
  • Woof. You should roll the fenders lol
  • Mar 22, 2019, 11:14:47
  • Maritime:
  • I really can;t wait to get the clearance. Our roads are so bad and getting worse the low car is taking a beating. My bumper also hits on some frost heaves
  • Mar 22, 2019, 11:02:20
  • Maritime:
  • I am expecting some rub on bad bumps with the new tires. they are 3.4" bigger than the current which are the biggest factory size. the new height is 1.7" more, and I am adding 1,5" in lift so I may also have to put a spring stiffener in front and back
  • Mar 22, 2019, 10:57:39
  • Maritime:
  • I'm hoping to get the lift on this weekend, if the coil spacers I bought actually fit. The roads to and from work are so bad I am bottoming out the tires on the wheel arches on some bumps
  • Mar 22, 2019, 10:53:18
  • Maritime:
  • I'll need summer tires at some point this summer so when I do the AT's are going on
  • Mar 22, 2019, 10:51:39
  • Maritime:
  • That's the biggest reason I am creating the Bajaris (name credit to Jussy) so I can put one set of tires and wheels that will outlast the car
  • Mar 22, 2019, 10:50:58
  • Maritime:
  • Ha, that's always a consideration. new tires is a 3-4 year commitment sometimes LOL
  • Mar 22, 2019, 10:49:52
  • advCo:
  • I need new tires for my truck, been thinking about trading it in LOL
  • Mar 22, 2019, 10:49:19
  • advCo:
  • Hahaha
  • Mar 22, 2019, 10:49:08
  • Maritime:
  • IDK but I don't really care. I didn't get to the MOIST button stereo yet, or grab the off road lights yet.
  • Mar 22, 2019, 10:45:24
  • Maritime:
  • Probably, I put a set in the CRV a couple years ago and it was fine. I think these newer ones are even lower watt so prob why it doesn't know they are on, or the Honda switch tells the dash light to light and Toyota does it by sensing the lights are on
  • Mar 22, 2019, 10:44:25
  • advCo:
  • Lol, on my old truck I installed HIDs. They never worked right so I would have to hold the high beams on for about 15 seconds before they were full bright.
  • Mar 22, 2019, 10:43:36
  • advCo:
  • Wonder why that happens. Not enough resistance with the LEDs to light the warning light?
  • Mar 22, 2019, 10:43:01
  • Maritime:
  • But the low beams are so much better I prob won't use high beams much
  • Mar 22, 2019, 10:42:53
  • advCo:
  • LOL
  • Mar 22, 2019, 10:42:39
  • Maritime:
  • LED high beams too, which are fucking bright
  • Mar 22, 2019, 10:42:24
  • Maritime:
  • I installed a set of LED headlights in the Bajaris, now my highbeam indicator doesn't light. I'll be hitting folks with high beams all the time now LOL
  • Mar 22, 2019, 10:41:54
  • Maritime:
  • Sometimes you just need the right frame of mind to get that stuff right
  • Mar 22, 2019, 10:39:46
  • advCo:
  • I've been pussyfooting around it for weeks now LOL needed to just get it in
  • Mar 22, 2019, 10:26:03
  • advCo:
  • Thanks man, really happy how that panel went in

  • canyoncarver:
  • you should come get my 750 project.
  • Mar 21, 2019, 15:39:32
  • canyoncarver:
  • You don't see many 550's here in the states and yes you should.
  • Mar 21, 2019, 15:39:06
  • JustinLonghorn:
  • I should make that dude a crazy low offer.
  • Mar 21, 2019, 15:38:45
  • canyoncarver:
  • ah.  yeah, duh...   The 550 and 1100 have different chassis's than the 750.
  • Mar 21, 2019, 15:38:21
  • JustinLonghorn:
  • That's a 550 Zephyr
  • Mar 21, 2019, 15:37:38
  • canyoncarver:
  • Mmm, the 1100.
  • Mar 21, 2019, 15:37:22
  • JustinLonghorn:
  • I've never seen a Zephyr painted up like this, I like it:
  • Mar 21, 2019, 15:34:54
  • Maritime:
  • I have a couple places on the dash I could put the switch but right by the stereo would be a good place I think
  • Mar 21, 2019, 15:26:40
  • advCo:
  • There you go.
  • Mar 21, 2019, 15:25:54
  • Maritime:
  • I want to mount some offroad LED lights, they have them on sale right now at Princess auto so maybe I can install a rocker switch in the faceplate
  • Mar 21, 2019, 15:25:32
  • advCo:
  • Yeah, my blazer was like that and the install kit had a stupid little shelf/pocket thing
  • Mar 21, 2019, 15:24:24
  • Maritime:
  • there are aftermarket adapter kits but they are 35-40 USD and really kills the deal on the cheap stereo LOL
  • Mar 21, 2019, 15:24:21
  • Maritime:
  • I'll just have to fab up a plate of some sort, I just have to pull the dash all apart to see how I'll need to make it which sucks
