I am Roy 35 years old and I live in Holland.
I want to share my CB400four cafe racer build with you all.
My project started Dec31 2012 and at this time the bike is almost finished.
This thread will mostly contain pics that I've made during the build....
As I said... It started Dec31 2012 when I bought this little pink CB400four
I almost inmidiately started to strip down the bike.
Removed some extra weight...
And making a new mounting point for the exhaust
Meanwhile it's February I got a very nice birthday gift from my wife and kids.... New seat!!
Bought some second hand shocks from a CB750... They are +/-4cm longer than the original ones from the 400four

This is my first build and am also pleased with the result of how it stands right now!
The tank is going to be high gloss black with the original red&gold Honda decalls and on top.
It's going to be painted by a very talented painter at A1 Restores over here in the Netherlands

WOW 8) seriously beautiful bit of kit those headers 8) they aint cheap here in UK paint job gonna be stunning gettin jealous mate keep up the quality build friend
looks like a David Silver Spare unit to me? Be interested to see how it fits. I had an issue with #2 pipe. They sent a replacement (for free), but it still had to be 'massaged' into place. Can't wait to see the paint job. Great build.
