Title: Let's see your Garage / Shop
Post by: Big Rich on Nov 12, 2009, 12:36:56
After looking around the forum for a while I've noticed that some people have the luxury of a dedicated machine shop/garage to do their work while some others are trying to get whatever they can done outdoors. So how about a thread with pics of your "home away from home"? I'll start it out. Let me just say that growing up my family NEVER had a usable garage, if we had one it became storage space (military brat). So after my Dad retired and bought a house WITH a garage, I was stoked. Unfortunately, the doors didn't close, the concrete was too cracked to use a creeper, the roof leaked like crazy, and the garage itself was built sometime when cars were about 4' by 6' or something so there wasn't hardly any room to work. All these were major factors to me when buying a house. So here goes:

Pulling up with the realtor I actually said "we'll take it" but my wife said we should walk through the house first
(http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt70/rmyers104/68%20Honda%20CL175%20project/IMGP2636.jpg)

Then we found out that the garage was about 800 sq ft and the house was about 1100 sq ft.

To this day my wife tells people if it wasn't for the garage, we wouldn't have bought the house. She's probably right!

I like this thread

Back when I was in college in Seattle I was living in a rented house in which we had a single bay downstairs with an adjacent bedroom and laundry/rec room... I didn't go upstairs much:

This is the best pic that I've got of the old place:

I think you should be able to tell by the cinder block and discarded door shelving that it was rough, and lighting was non existent.

Then when I moved to Texas I was ecstatic to learn that some apartments come with garages:

Not a big improvement in space, but I now had some income so I made sure to get it lit up properly.

Second apartment, this time on the second floor, but with a staircase directly into my garage:

that was cool. Still single bay, but:

with a cool little storage cubby space.

Followed by the 6 month dark period without a space:

Moved in with my girlfriend to live out her lease before we bought a house together...

...to where I am now:

Now if I could just get those cars out of the way I could have some room to work :)

Nice Ranchero and MR2! I miss my first gens a lot.

There's my garage. I gave my roommate the master bedroom for the garage. Heh, still no damn room.

Parked outside are my Valiant and Civic, and my Rambler is still being stored off at a lot a guy uses to park cars for his used car dealership.

I found this pic on another forum - I guess a friend of the photographer's added on to his garage so everybody's bikes would have a home every winter! Talk about above and beyond!!

Heres my shop.  Ive never had indoor shop space, so I kicked out the lawn tractor from its wintersleep den & created this!

Its propane heat with two poly walls.  Insulated well everywhere else.  It holds the heat with a little 20lb heater.  Havent even went through one cylinder yet.

here is mine...I converted my attic to more storage, i pull down the ladder and i have shelving up there to help me stay organized and keep all the parts in need, i also have a 1 car barn in back with the lawn mower, 3 bikes, etc... THE VERY BEST THING YOU CAN DO IN YOUR GARAGE IS CARPET IT... NO JOKE, THE BEST! keeps it cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter, and an old vacume will get you all cleaned up! i love mine! It is all insulated, heated, has a full spray booth, polishing station, outlets every 6 ft along the wall and 3 on the ceiling.  it is ok, gets the job done

with any luck our new shop building will be completed next month and the wife can actually park in the garage and i do not have insure it as a shop anymore!!!

My garage is carpeted too.  I love it, except for once when I spilled a bunch of oil on it.  Used a whole bottle of degreaser and a roll of paper towels and it's still a mess.

Well the place that I currently reside does not have a garage. :( But it does have a small prefab building in the back yard that was used as a sewing/storage room by the previous owner. I have converted into what I feel is a pretty good work shop with all things considered. It is small, 15ft X 10ft with only one small window and one standard size door, but it does have heat and A/C! Even though it is small I organized well to try and cut down on clutter! Enough babbling, here it is!

From the outside you would never suspect the mayhem inside!

Twisted - that is actually a sweet little spot you have. It would be real easy to have 2 people work for a couple hours and pounding beers the whole time.

And JRK, about that carpeting..... whenever we moved into our house I somehow "inherited" my sister-in-laws 5' by 7' rug. The thing was hideous to me so I plopped it down in the garage by the couch and beer fridge.  Soon as my wife saw it all I heard was "Are you crazy? That's an Eddie Bauer rug! You'll ruin it in here!!". Didn't wanna tell her but that was the whole point.

That is a good shop.  I remember working out of a 8 x 12 and it wasn't bad.  Its easier to keep what you absolutely need and get rid of what you don't.  I like the way you have your stuff very well organized on the wall.  A place for everything and everything in its place.  It really is amazing how much more a guy can get done when he isn't looking for lost, misplaced, or buying/shopping for items that he already has on a shelf somewhere.

Agreed! I bow to you superiority! My place looks like a bakery in comparison to most of you guys work spaces! I will not let that effect my build though! I just got this place looking this way, as you can tell there is no oil and grime on the work bench. I have had several shops in the past (at my parents house then my own garage) and I know it won't take long to break it in.

Thanks Guys.... took me far longer then I figured to get it to that state.  The only downside is I can't really work on a car and bikes at the same time (can fit car... just not the bikes).

Maybe next time....

no garage for me yet. have my project split between my my dad's garage (probably my favorite place in the world) and my uncle's garage, which with 5000sq ft, every tool you could ever think of, three car lifts, too many cars, and all his toys, is a totally different place.

my dad's garage has floor to ceiling knotty pine and is CLASSIC! when bike parts aren't covering the floor the ping pong table is.

Over the past year...If you make it to the end you can see the bikes progress from start to now.

You can see how bare that corner was before I got into the bike project
(http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b302/Darmstro/XS500%20Cafe%20Build/Picture008-1.jpg)
Built my little 4x2 bench
(http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b302/Darmstro/XS500%20Cafe%20Build/Picture001.jpg)

After last nights declutter, added the pegboard to my other bench, mounted my grinder to the bench, general reorganization.  There`s a shelf behind the towel that holds my buffer, welder, drill case, etc...  I also mounted a little flourescent light to the top right corner of the peg poard for more light, plus the little snake light attached to the grinder.  Used an old shower curtain rod between the front of two post to hang randon [shizzle] on, like bungee cords, and that towel, lol.  I actually spent about 7 hours out there last night messing around, and managed to do ZERO work on the bike.

And the other corner (our garage is called a 1 1/2 because of the door set-up but it's a full 2 car plus).

...and I made $40 at the scrap metal place getting rid of all the useless bike and car parts I've been hoarding over the past couple years today.  410 lbs of useless [shizzle] not taking up valuable work space anymore.

I built this last summer:

It actually houses my cages (my SuperDuty and the Wife's Expedition), as well as the bikes and sleds. I built it too small, though, since it is only about 800 sq. ft.  I don't really do much for work here, though. When I became the service manager at the tractor dealership where I work, the owner told me that it was my shop. I have free run of the place for all of my toys; my bikes and sleds live there in season. It is pretty rad having the full welding bay, wash bay, paint room, hoists, lifts, and all of my personal tools there. My garage just houses the stuff at my house now! ;D

Man i need to get some pics of the shop up.  I built it with my father when i was a young pup.  It has served me well over the year learned many ways how not to do things  :).  It's 20x24 as that is the biggest the city would allow.  Best advice is storage is key and keep stocked up on supplies.  For instance i have sand paper 40-2000+ sheet and DA stocked, i buy it in bulk from a local supplier.  Oil, coolant, ect.  If you know you will use it by it on sale and stock up...really saves time and money in the long run.

I live in an apartment building, not the greatest place to work on a bike (on the third floor).  Luckily, I have been able to use a coworker's garage down the street from where I live.

Well this is where I spend a lot of quality time. Fairly unorganised. But, during December, I did some work cleaning it up, throwing out crap that had been in there for years, and trying to make a more methodical working environment.

BEFORE pics:

These dirty little bastards are as responsible as I am for making a mess in here.

Started cleaning stuff up:

And then my dad gave me this old cabinet (which he made in the 60's) from his workshop, which I fixed up, and it gave me the inspiration to get the rest of the garage right.

And this is kinda how it is now, just a bit more messy.

i just graduated college, so i currently live on the second floor of a pretty small apt. So i don't have a garage, but this is my current work space/garage/kitchen....

I had 2 of my friends help me carry it up the stairs, wish i would've got a picture of this happening  :P

and the corner you cant see in the picture...

obviously not as nice as anyone elses work room or garage, but after only being able to work on the bike for 30 minutes after work before it got to dark or was just to cold to continue, i got fed up with getting nothing done for months...so i figured...i'll just put it in my kitchen  ;D

hopefully will be getting a bigger place with an ACTUAL garage so i can fit all my toys

Only the right hand bay. And all the junk that was there before. I got my car out of there now and have some room to work with. I'm living at home. My dad and his girlfriend however are getting a house. Our family has 4 kids, theirs 5.  :o  Needless to say I will be spending most of the time in the 60x40' garage!

I hear that.... my place is the same.   It gets a little nuts, cause I know that if I'm missing the screwdriver i want to use, i go nuts trying to find it.

I also only have 1 buddy who uses my shop.... cause he understands that tools have a place.

know what I mean?  My small section of wall is behind the bike....   really need to get updated pics of the shop...

I got the opportunity to build my dream workshop a few years back - so I did. My wife made one rule - it can't be bigger than the house. Guess what? I broke the rule.
Here a shot of the machine shop area.
I built the entire thing myself and outsourced just a few things - like sheetrock on the ceiling, the trusses and the concrete.
It has radiant heat in the concrete pad and it's awesome. In the winter I set it to 55 degrees and it's too warm to wear a sweatshirt.

I just recently got engaged and my fiancee bought us a house.  Previously, my bike was at a buddy's garage because I was living in the 3rd story of an apartment.  Now I have a place to get my project all started back up again!  It isn't much I guess, but I love it!  My buddy was nice enough to loan my his work bench and shelf.

Don't worry at least you have some place to work on your bikes.  It'll happen one day. Remember it doesn't all come at once.  It takes time and years of hard work.  I'm 56 years old and can finally afford a nice shop, tools and toys.

6'X10'
In The basement of my govt' housing apartment
one wall is actually chain link
11' lip just in front of the door
only accessible by stairs (a real bitch to get a bike in)
the kicker is no electricity or heat.
but i am thankful i had the space being stationed in Germany many are not a lucky...

I was single forever (so it seemed) was worth the wait found a Bad Ass Woman ....she'd let me have a bike here on the 3rd floor I would just rather not bother.....It helps to bring the small one in first say aww look how cute it is (takes up as much space as that table we got rid of)..... then you can figure out your floor plan

Second flipswitch's comment there. My lovely wife doesn't even allow garage clothes in the house except to get them washed.

I have a very modest 20' x 14' single car garage that I rebuilt on existing slab. Enough room to park a car or work on a bike, but not both at the same time.

Somehow the bikes magically get put back together and run ;)

This isn't exactly a garage, per se. Just a couple of weeks ago a handful of friends and myself went on on an 1100 square foot space downtown and converted it to a private shop for ourselves. It's so nice having a dedicated workspace.

Forgive the mediocre photos, I was using my camera's crappy on-board flash for most of them.

This is the first floor/main work area:

Double metal doors make moving bikes in and out a breeze.

View from the door. Couple Hondas, Swan's (of Gold Star restoration fame) Triton, and a Yamaha RT1. There's a couple residents missing or out of frame.

Francoise Hardy and my CB360 currently on the lift. Excellent investment.

Most importantly...

Basement:
Big trap door leading downstairs.

Room 1. Couple of CB frames/rolling chassis, light storage, and small woodworking area.

View from the other side. Some parts bikes and a compressor for the lift upstairs.

Room 2, through the door in the preceding photo. Currently unused by us, but will likely just be additional storage. Lots of junk in there that is not our doing.

View from the other side.

Finally another (also currently unused) room way in the back (technically front) of the basement.

Dang bwald,

Thanks, we're still moving in but it's great to have a space that has few distractions and is dedicated strictly to bikes. Unfortunately, the main work area isn't that huge considering there are five people sharing the space. The front half of the building is a friend's music studio, so we don't have the entire first floor. As long as everything stays clean and we each try to minimize our footprint, it should work out though.

That's actually one of the best parts. I asked my boss some time ago why he decided to move back to this town to open his business. His response was "where else that's not a total shithole can I start my own business, buy a building downtown, and a houseboat for less than $200,000?" Housing is pretty cheap here. Split five ways, renting this space costs us each $64 plus our share of the utilities per month.

Actually, it would be $53 and change. It's $320 total, currently split five ways. Unfortunately, I just discovered today that rooms 2 and 3 in the basement are not ours even though we have access to them, but if we're nice we can store a few things in there. Oh well, they are currently not being used anyway.

Winona, Minnesota, not Wisconsin, home of the Winona Riders... Bwald, thanks for posting images of the space. We just moved in and have more to add, tweek, move around, organize etc. I bought a bunch of estate sale shelves and metal flammable material storage cabinets for a great price this weekend for us to use and will build more wooden shelves and mobile workbenches and tables. Once the space is sorted I'll bring my Gold Star over. For now, I am so happy to finally have a space to wrench, drink a beer, listen to music and ride my Triton straight in the door on to my new lift table. After building the Triton in a tiny laundry room and the Gold Star in a tiny workspace, this is heaven!

This week, my garage has been completely transformed. I took some pictures along the way since I thought y'all might want to see. The changes were:

- Rustoleum Epoxy floor coating with Key Resin Commercial Grade urethane 1/4" topcoat
- Robbe 4" Vinyl wall base
- DIY 12' work bench with 2" and 4" pine trim, and 3/4" birch veneer plywood top (had this leftover from other projects around the house).

First things first, gotta clean out the garage!

Finally clean, we can start doing the prep for the floor now. We used a 7" hand grinder and did the entire floor. My garage is 24'x20', with a full loft above the entire garage that we use for long-term storage. The guy in pics doing some of the work is a Product Rep of my dad for a commercial epoxy/urethane floor coating company that uses their product in commercial/industrial applications.

We're getting there! I did about 25% of the prep and it was a LOT of work. Hands down the best method of prepping the floor.

The prep of the floor took 3.5 hours, and the epoxy coating took 30 minutes. Since the epoxy was such a quick process, I wasn't able to step back and take a pic. Here's the floor freshly coated with the epoxy down and the color chips sprinkled in.

Close up of the floor color. Blue, white, black, grey, and light blue chips over grey epoxy.

Had to let the floor dry for 24 hours before we could install the topcoat. The product rep provided me his industrial-grade urethane coating for no charge, and it makes this floor nearly bulletproof! Once the floor was down, we installed the top coat.

Top coat completely installed! The topcoat is a high-gloss, but we mixed in 1/2 cup of anti-skid granules to prevent the floor from becoming an ice rink when wet. Works really well!

After I let the topcoat cure for 48 hours, I installed my 4" black vinyl wall base molding. Gotta let it sit out overnight to let the wrinkles relax!

Installed! Very VERY easy to do. Has a commercial-grade self-adhesive on the back. Just peel and stick!

Next up was building a workbench for the back of the garage! I used to have this awful hand-me-down kitchen table that I just stored crap on. Looked awful and wasn't even stable. Total material cost of this came to $78.xx as I had the top and trim pieces leftover from other projects.

Here it is all framed up.

And today I just finished up installing all of the trim around the edges. Here's the rest of the bench!

1/2" lip across the back and left side to prevent stuff from rolling off the back and getting lost.

All finished!

Now I gotta go find wifey to help me move into place! Ahh, much better!

Thanks for looking! Now I just have to move stuff back into their places and get all organized. All of my detailing stuff is in the white cabinets. I also have a nice little sound system setup in there for while Im working.

One last Before/After:

Before:

After:

Finally washed the S2000 and parked her inside. :)

Still have some work to do. Im really happy with it so far!

Maybe not the best thread, but I finally got electrical done in my garage and after insulating, R-12 walls and at least R-24 ceiling, I need to put a heater in there. Of course it gets stupid cold here, but I would hope to keep the temp at 5 celcius/40 fahrenheit. Any experience in heaters? I was thinking about this heater http://www.homedepot.ca/product/4800w-240v-construction-heater-almond/954396

And of course a photo. She's a little one at 250 sq. ft. And the photo further shrinks.

I searched and couldn't find a thread like this, other than a current one that is one member's build thread.

If there IS one, sorry.

Anyway, I typed up a LONG post about my shop and attached several images, then accidentally closed the browser window.

Long story short, it was my late Dad's concrete block 2-bay double overhead door boat shed with a fish & game cleaning room and 2 storage rooms. I cut a hole in the back wall between the 2 bays, poured a slab out back big enough to relocate my steel building open carport and single-bay enclosed shop, and then enclosed the carport and installed 2 more overhead doors and a back door leading to my back yard.

I wired the place for 208/230, with 110 all over the place including all fluorescent lighting. I also removed the plumbing from the game cleaning room, as well as a huge poured-in-place concrete table for cleaning fish and quartering game (that became my office).

My old shop remained my shop, but I have added a partition to contain cooling from a small window unit A/C. The boat bays became one bay for my regular riders, and the other for day-to-day maintenance and prime rider parking. The new 2-bay garage is storage for the bulk of my collection.

My garage is used for business and i needed a place to work so my wife was cool with me having a work space in the house as long as she can't smell anything, so i sealed up the space really well and installed two 300cfm exhaust fans used for hydroponics.........awesome fans, have a plastic housing and look like turbine blades inside, very quiet

there is a shop vac in the corner next to the bench, but really the pic was from last week and i have been cutting on the lathe so there is all kinds of chips and strings on the floor. To be honest, I can't stand a messy workspace, never could.......when I turned a wrench for a living, you could tell where my bay was because the floors were spotless, bench clean, and tools cleaned and put away....the other guys I worked with were essentially pigs and I guess it fuelled my need to stay clean and organized. The first mechanic I apprenticed with instilled this in me, awesome mechanic he was and always said "take care of your tools and space because its what puts food on the table"

This is my little slice. Me and the wife built it from the ground up less only pouring the concrete (we dug the footings and set the forms) and no nailing shingles. I prefer the old metal furnishings from the industrial age if I can find it and some has been with me a long time, I gave all but my boxes to my son when I moved from NE to TN so much of what I have now is new or new used... never intended to tinker again, but here we are.

Very nice!  You and the Mrs do good work.  I paid a couple of Amish guys (yup, named Yoder) to give me four walls and a roof then we finished the rest.  Wish I had room on the lot to put up something the size of yours.

that was a bit over a year ago when we first moved in, pic taken on a ladder about 1/3rd of the way from the back wall. We've got about 1500sqft. It's quite a bit more full nowadays.

I left 300 acres and a 60X90 shop for a 30X50 and a bungalow in the hood lol so the trade is expensive in another way. Work moves are tough for young people but us older dudes have less holding us down i guess, but I sure miss wizzing out the back door of the shop and shooting from the deck... we had a 8/10 mile MX track a mini pitbike track flat track anywhere you wanna put up cones... yeah rents cheap but livins a long ways from here  ;)

A 12 x 20, that's decent space;I have a 10 x 20 storage unit I rent 5 mi. out in the country and I keep everything I own in it and also work on a few bikes here and there.I got my 2 roll-aways & a bench in there.I was looking for a storage w/ AC like I had back when I lived in VA. for a few years... none to be had around here.

Good to know!  I'm looking to rehome my tablesaw, drill press, mower, trimmer, etc etc etc... but also set up my mechanic tools and bike stuff.  I figured 12x20 (or maybe 12x24) wood shed will suit me.  I'll be insulating and drywalling it as soon as I can.  Hopefully I can work it into my spring budget, I have a LOT of home improvement stuff I'm in the middle of.

Thanks! It's the later 2 piece head, bored out to 135. It was gonna need to go a bit over anyways to clean up the cylinder and I was able to score a NOS big bore kit on eBay for a good price.
The head was rough when I got it, so I was looking for xr motors up to 200cc but couldn't find any around me for a reasonable price at the time.

SO like 15 miles right? haha You folks from Cali always judge distance in increments of time.... "oh its about an hour and a half from here" haha kills me, but its how it is, what takes an hour at 5pm takes 5 minutes at 3am.

Well, it looks like I'll be posting pictures of changes I am forced to make to my garage.

I will need to basically "chop off" 2 bays from my steel building, and relocate it from the back to the front of my block building.

It's going to involve these steps:

1. Pour an extension to the front driveway to square it off
2. Relocate 22 bikes mostly to an uncovered slab, a few crammed in the block building
3. Take down 2 of the 3 bays including roof, 2 overhead doors, standard metal door, lighting & power
4. Re-erect the 2 bays in front of the block building, basically covering up the existing 2 overhead doors and extending out 30'
5. Build a new 30' steel building wall with the relocated standard metal door at one end
6. Re-install the 2 overhead doors
7. Re-wire overhead doors, lights & power, with new breaker panel
8. Re-trim all roof and corner edges
9. Relocate back yard fence 20' in
10. Relocate front fence with double vehicle gates 30' out

The fun starts tomorrow; I'm still detailing the construction plans on AutoCad, compiling the Bill Of Materials, and getting quotes for labor & materials (although I'm doing a lot of the work myself)

Thankfully, the boss is lending me one of the "cherry pickers" (bucket trucks); that'll make the steel erection pretty easy.

I did too, I was faced with a newborn and had to decide on a Snap On box and tools payment or food and diapers... I went to my Brother and got the tools from him and Napa to keep going.

Needs work to seal it from critters, but man a fishing spot with a shop, not far from a sustainable life right theer... just need a garden some chickens and a cow. Palms say no need for heat but air will be essential.

Since my previous post, Reply #164, things have changed around here.

1st of April 2015 I got notice from my brother (managing partner of our parents' estate) that I needed to move my steel building which encroached on a property line that never actually existed. He found a buyer for the section of our property just behind my house, and was giving me 30 days' notice to remove the building or he would demolish it and send me the bill! I thought it was an April Fool's joke, no such luck.

Turns out only the 2 garage bays (and lean-to) were encroaching, the shop bay could stay put; still, this was going to be a chore!

Everything from the walk door to the right had to move.

I drew up plans in AutoCAD and came up with this plan:

1. Roll out 22 bikes, relocate as many as possible to the remaining garage & shop, box trailer, and boat/trailer parking area
2. Form and pour an extended concrete driveway apron in front of the existing garage
3. Hire a crew to dismantle the 2 garage bays while I disassembled the overhead doors, shelves & lighting/power
4. Purchase some new materials to replace the formerly shared inner wall between the shop and garage, as well as adding a few square feet of floor space
5. Have the crew rebuild the new garage on the new slab, in a slightly different orientation
6. Re-install the overhead doors & shelving, and install new lighting & power
7. Roll the bikes back in neatly, leaving one empty garage bay for bicycles and outdoor/play equipment "easy-in/easy-out"

It all went pretty well, and amazingly less than 10% over budget (it helps that I was a construction ops manager / estimator)

Lean-to gone (to be relocated to shop "barn door" area)

No compromise, I left him with a clean, bare lot with no encroachment at all, and zero trash, weeds or debris.

I really though he'd want to keep the slab, as he has a helicopter that's always parked in his driveway (he's already living just across the street), and he could have easily erected a nice new roof over the slab and parked it there.

We've become casual acquaintances; he rides (Harleys and dirt bikes), and has promised he'll take me up anytime in his chopper or one of his airplanes (he flies for a local bank).

Thank you, big improvement over the work bench I had.  Plus they really let me simplify my garage and give it a cleaner look with all the storage.  I was able to get rid of a
Lot of shelving.

With the warm weather we had there for a few days I was able to get 2/3 of my garage painted and I was able to paint my cabinets also.

When spring hit I'll be epoxying the floor.

OSB is good, Dock.   Gypsum over plywood.  Gypsum over plywood.  Every shop should be done that way.  You can hang pretty much anything anywhere on the walls that way.   Just wood is dark and absorbs a bunch of light.  Just gypsum is weak.

The latest Google Earth image has my relocated garage (last March, a year ago).

Upper section is the shop and parts shelf area, with an outdoor shed roof (not outlined) to the left

Center section is two standard garage bays with a small office and two storage closets (original block bldg)

Lower section is the new 2-1/2 extended bays (32' long) for the bikes that get ridden, and client stuff I'm doing road testing on.

I haven't done the calculations, but I'm pretty sure it's more enclosed square footage than our 28x64 modular home.

Looking good Mike, it's too damn clean though LOL. I just spent 2 hour last night cleaning my space and it's only half that neat and tidy, round 2 tonight should get it back to working condition.

Are those tables oak legs with laminate tops?  Something from a university surplus maybe?  I think we have identical tables.

If we're both talking about the same one (the one on the left), it's our old kitchen table from Ikea that we picked up about 10 years ago. Solid wood, but I don't think it's oak?

Way too much wasted space. You need more bikes!

(I've got a bunch for sale)

A ton of things will be going in that space before the year is out (hopefully). Including two bikes. :)

Here's mine.  Not very wide but a good length.  Work bench at the back, power and light.  Its in a sort of hibernation ATM while I recover from surgery. Motorbike under the cover, woodpile awaiting transfer to the greenhouse...I like my bicycles, have 5 more other than the three here.

Thank you! Had a bunch of extra angle bracket and a piece of butcher block laying around. Still enough room to work, but it holds an ample amount on top.

Is that one of the Costco plastic shed?  I can get one for a couple hundred bucks and it might make a nice paint booth.

Rubbermaid big max and I think could easily be made into a paint booth.
