Title: 1949 Ariel
Post by: goldy on May 25, 2018, 21:28:08
Just finished restoring this Mk1 Square Four that belongs to one of my best friends. The project started off as a huge pile of parts. Over the last couple of years he did most of the chassis while I did the engine and drive train and final assembly. It's been out for several test drives and so far everything seems to be working perfectly.  :)

Yep...pretty busy. Completely off topic, but I helped a buddy get his LSR bike running today too...he got one hell of a workout, was sweating like an old Clydesdale horse by the time we were done! LOL!!! :)

cool... he didn't buy the carcass off a guy in Central Illinois did he?  I have a friend that had a donor bike like it, I contemplated it.. but decided it'd be way too ambitious.

Nope, this one came from Nova Scotia...the guys at BCS used it as a road racer.

Here's a little more Squariel porn:
