  • Jun 10, 2019, 12:37:00
  • advCo:
  • Either that or something like Eastwood Chassis black
  • Jun 10, 2019, 12:12:25
  • advCo:

  • He uses a rust inhibitor in his blasting slurry so he says it can stay for up to a month bare metal without flash rusting. But I'm not taking any chances
  • Jun 10, 2019, 11:41:53
  • Maritime:
  • yep, flash rust would suck

  • Jun 07, 2019, 15:07:42
  • cbrianroll:
  • sorry...work got in my way lol...1in conduit...filled with caulking...we hold decking 1/2 off wall. 2 lag bolts every 2ft....quite sturdy
  • Jun 07, 2019, 14:47:34
  • Maritime:
  • I do that too, used a stack of washers between house and ledger for about 1/4" of air space between so the water runs down the siding and between the deck and house
  • Jun 07, 2019, 13:38:19
  • advCo:
  • what do you use for shims?
  • Jun 07, 2019, 13:22:24
  • cbrianroll:
  • we build ours shimmed off the houses, eliminates flshing leaks at the ledger. it has proven to be the best so far in very wet western wa.pm me if you want a sketch of what I mean...
