George Harrison's leather jacket, from 1960-62 Hamburg and Liverpool, is up for auction. I love vintage leather jackets almost as much as vintage bikes, but this one is a bit out of my price range at a pre-sale estimate of of $ USD 144,00 to 193,000 and size too big at 50 (metric) or 40 US/UK size. Too cool.

Unreal.  Wouldn't have paid $5 for it at a thrift shop.  Looks like something Fonzie wore.
"Quality . . . you know what it is, yet you don't know what it is. But that's self-contradictory. But some things are better than others, that is, they have more quality. But when you try to say what the quality is, apart from the things that have it, it all goes poof! There's nothing to talk about. But if you can't say what Quality is, how do you know what it is, or how do you know that it even exists? If no one knows what it is, then for all practical purposes it doesn't exist at all. But for all practical purposes it really does exist."

The sad thing is it probably won't ever be worn again.
