Rach and I had our first sunny ride of the season.

It was almost a success.  The circlip popped off and my shifter was left dangling by the rearset linkage out on the breeze.

Got home, drilled a hole through the shaft and fixed that.

Attempting to replicate Irks brake upgrade.

Using factory Honda disc hub w a Kawasaki disc...

the new disc is larger diameter + lighter.  I will weigh parts before installing.

Drilled, tapped and countersunk hub for the shouldered Kawasaki bolts.

Fitted w aluminum crush washers as the bolt heads didn't quite fit the disc as planned.

Jammed w flanged locknuts.  Will knock off excess threads before paint.

Picked up a second set of forks, along w everything for rebuild...I will swap these for minimal down time.

Looks great.  What Suzuki rotor is that?  I used an EX500 rotor.

EX500 is Kawasaki. It's a Ninja.

That's what I said.  I'm trying to figure out the Suzuki part.  You said Suzuki.
