$10 on EBAY. A buddy of mine did the stripin'. Hes learning and that was an early attempt. I still think its pretty bitchin. Needs relined, and its a bit too tight. Suppose i could fix those problems at one time though, huh?

And just realized... Apparently red MF 3/4 helmets are popular here...

This is one of mine:

Sorry, crappy pix.  It's getting kinna old but I keep it in a bag so UV damage making the shell brittle is kept to a minimum and I always wear a balaclava so it's still fresh inside.

Here are my lids:

I love the way those look. The mouthguards give the helmet a definite Mad Max vibe. Which ones are these guys rocking?

pretty much the same ones...Either JTRacing guards or some other vintage MX face guards.

The difference between mine and the one in the above pics is that... that guy snaps the guard directly onto the outside of the helmet.

I like to snap/connect mine onto the leather lining/ear-flap that only exists on a few makes of 3/4 helmets.
Ive found that only helmets made by: Skidoo, Bombardier, or LSI have the internal leather flaps that you can snap the guards onto..

Incidently.. I just bought this one on ebay last night:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320442319636&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT
that I will put on this helmet: (notice the leather ear flaps inside the helmet...)

But here are a few JT Racing guards that was just listed on ebay:

Loco,

Thanks for posting the links to the masks.  I will go ahead and get one.  I had the Hanna mask on my watchlist, but let it pass.
Opeulence, I has it.

lets see the inside..
I believe that you are going to have to drill holes into the shell of that helmet and rivit the snaps to the outside of the helmet.

I dont believe that has the leather ear flaps on the inside..

lets see the inside..

It has canvas type? ear guards/flaps (behind the ear padding) that are secured to the shell with the rivets/snaps as shown on the outside.  No picture with me.

I am not sure it that material would be strong enough to hold in place.
