headstart on the upcoming riding season.
« on: Jan 12, 2010, 15:14:55 »
just a few of the local meets in and around CT /Mass/NY

Rheinbeck Grand National Show. 3 day event june 11-13th(friday till sunday)
one of the must see events of the season. I just from past experience go on saturday and have had great weather past few years.

Rice-O-Rama  Sunday September 12th 10-5 rain or shine
North brookfield sportsman's club
20 boynton road North brookfield Mass.
Again another great event to go see lots of parts and just an amazing array of old japanese bikes and networking opportunity not to be missed.

Ct Steam Museum in Kent CT
Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th from 8 till 5 or 6 I think.
hodge podge of all things mechanical. I saw steam motorcycle last year got to hear a 1906 harley board track racer start up.
saw a steam shovel from 1926 move dirt and well I could go on and on. just a good day and you will be close to the toymakers cafe in Falls village  for a great lunch. and chit chat with british bike guys

I will be adding may more to this list but just wanted to get a head start like I say. I got what I hope is the fix for my electrical gremlins in the mail last night so I am going to work on my tx650 tonight and try to get her fired for first time in year and a half.

Cheers

well I am down right now. but because I am doing some up grades.

bought new rims having powder coated cream with a red pinstripe. like 50's hot rods.

I am actually down right now cause my seat is MIA. I am having my new tartan cover made I gave the lady my seat so she could fit exact.

I should buy a second seat but I need new rubber for the honda cb I am doing that next week.

Cheers Seth

P.S. how was your trip?
