Speedo and Tach Ratios for CB350

Hey all,

Does anyone know the speedo and tach ratio's for a '71 CB350? I'm looking to get aftermarket gauges and I dont want to get any wrong readings.

The speedo ratio's are all the same on metric bikes - 2240:60 or whatever it is.

I dunno about the tach. Aren't they all 1:1?

not sure what tehy are... but if you want accuracy, acewell speedos are the best. plus you can eliminate the speedo drive hub since it runs off of a magnet, like on a bike.
 
here are the cb tach and speedo specs...

CB750 Speedo 2240:60 Tach 4:1
CB650 Speedo 2240:60 Tach 4:1
CB550 Speedo 2240:60 Tach 20:3
CB500 Speedo 2240:60 Tach 20:3
CB400 Speedo 2240:60 Tach 20:3
CB350 Speedo 2240:60 Tach 20:3

a 20:3 tach can be substituted with a 7:1, have fun finding either, they exist but not many options...
 
Speedo's use a 1;1 ratio(Factor 19" or 18" front wheel ::)) on the aftermaket stuff(mc distributing) tachs more modern are 4;1 or 5;1.........you could wire in a electronic tach....but it would read half speed ;D

would anyone happen to know if these ratios are the same as the CL's?

It would be the same for the CL model, they use all the same components.
