Heck yeah man! Tear that sucker apart! If you've never painted before, I highly recommend against trying with the $$ stuff first. TwistedWheels did a great write up on how to spray-bomb stuff, you should check that out first.
just an up date... its a bombing 50 degrees in NJ... so i broke the bike out to start doing a little polishing... not there yet... needs more sanding and polishing but its a start....
Dude, nice so far. Go start a thread in Big Arse projects. That's the place for your updates and progress pics. That's the place where folks will find your build more easily and contribute praise and ideas. Oh, and welcome to the board.
weather is good again so i decided to take on the task of putting on the clubmans... so i notched out the switches and everything went pretty easy... here are some pictures of the progress... as well if any one know what the green and yellow wire and black wire hanging out there are please let me know... hasn't affected the bike starting or any lights.... i think they are for the handle bar break but i'm not sure
Got a wiring diagram? I think the green is a ground. The yellow might be for an electric start, and the black could possibly be for the horn? All just guesses.......
Double check to be sure where they go before hooking them up to anything!
