Well if you found a mint 0-mile SL350 in show-room condition it might fetch north of $3K to the right buyer (the 60 year old who had one exactly like it when he was 18).

A twin tube all original low milage bike in red sold this year for north of $8k.  I think it was a bidding war and doesnt reflect the true value of the bike.  But I have seen a few bring more then $5k
These bikes are starting to climb in value and bring a lot more then a CB or CL would

The Kelley Blue Book that Von linked to in the above post... I'd have never thought so either but... fact is stranger than fiction. ;)

I've been eyeing up a two bike trailer is see for sale by my house. I just can't justify buying it at this point. I probably wouldn't use it for a couple years

A bike only trailer I could see being not so useful, my inlaws have a nice, light 5x10 galvanized trailer from Costco and it will hold 2-3 bikes, but also can be used for many other things. I am going to borrow it for a bit for yard work etc. but will also use it for the getting of bikes ;D

Im with mike on this as the trailer i picked up is 6x10 open with a drop gate ! I use that thing for everything under the sun !!! Just took some flat bar stock and cut to fit along the front of the trailer. Then took long stem eye bolts and  mounted them thru it so can take one bike or three !!!!

This isn't so much a purchase, but I got these today along with some gaskets:

I met up with the seller of the GS450 to do the title transfer and he found these in his garage.

Oh man, got in the pneumatic bike lift today! No more working on bikes on the ground, get them up where you can see them!

It lifts my softail with ease. I have made the front bay in the shop dedicated to bikes only ;D
