Picked up a used tank for the K75c project I'm working. The old tank had so many holes it wasn't worth fixing it. I've never seen aluminum corrode so badly, guess that's what happens when you leave untreated gas sitting in the tank for years. Still have to replace the rest of the fuel system and change the fluids before I try to start it.

Pre unit gearbox, complete and functional

'71 - '72 ish T500 Suzuki, full race prepped / wired chassis.  No de-tabbing or gussets or bracing in my near future.
My pre unit triumph engine will be living in this frame.  I also found one early fifties preunit non rigid frame but buddy wanted stupid money for it.  So tri-zuki is what my new project will be..

NICE!  Definitely on my short-list of new bikes I'd run out and buy.

Awesome score Surffly. I don't mean to sound insulting or anything. but please be careful with that. A lathe will steal a finger (or more) in the blink of an eye.

+100

A friend up here who has a lathe and does some work for us locals recently got beaned in the noggin with a piece of metal.  Knocked him for a loop, required scans.  He got very lucky.

Oh I have seen machines do all kinds of damage.
While I am no machinist I have used lathes and mills.  I do look forward to being able to learn more.
